JERSEY SHORE: drug drama?
The cast of "Jersey Shore" is having alittle extra fun in Miami. An insider told press that an unnamed castmember scored cocaine and kept their use of the illegal drug away from the MTV cameras.
“Miami is obviously a big drug city. And when this cast member want to score, it wasn’t hard. The cast members are veterans by now and they know how to get rid of the cameras when they want to,”
“Finding someone to buy drugs from in South Beach is as easy as asking for it. It’s not hard and everyone is discreet. A connection was made and that’s all it took. A lot of things were done in code. Other people knew about it but no one ratted out this person.”

Minnesota mother gives birth behind the wheel!
Twenty-nine-year-old Amanda McBride felt labor pains at work last week and rushed to her car. She picked up the baby's father, staying in the driver's seat because he has a history of seizures.
She drove to the hospital experiencing mild labor pains. Suddenly her water broke and the baby "just slid out."
The boy's father is 33-year-old Joseph Phillips. He tells The Pioneer of Bemidji that McBride yelled at him to take the wheel, so he steered while she cradled little Joseph Dominick Phillips.
Officials at North Country Regional Hospital say they were stunned to learn the expectant mother was driving.

Bringing in the "bacon"
19 year old Lindsay Binegar, from Greenfield,OH has just bought her first house. Sounds kind of normal right? But she actually paid for the house with winnings from state fairs and other events from showing her pigs. She first splurged with her money when she was 14 and bought herself a purse. At 18, she bought a four-bedroom, two-bathroom house with a two-car garage. And she paid in cash. "I didn't get the money; it went to the bank," said Binegar, now a 19-year-old freshman at Ohio University's Chillicothe branch. That started the new pattern. Every year on her family farm, she would show her hogs at competitions and if she won she would put that money in her savings account. And it definitely added up! The house she just recently bought was $40,000! By the time she graduated from Greenfield McClain High School last June, she had saved more than $40,000 for college. But her parents had a proposition: They'd pay for college if she'd live at home and commute to Ohio University's Chillicothe campus. SO with college paid, she made a decision to spend her saving on something that would be a good investment, why not a house?!After painting the inside of the two-story frame house and adding new carpeting, Lindsay rented the house to a great aunt and uncle who wanted to relocate to Greenfield. Maybe it is good to always save your money!

Trouble for Lindsay Lohan
An L.A. judge issued a warrant for her arrest after she failed to appear for a court hearing relating to her 2007 case. She had a hearing to explain allegations that she failed to complete her alcohol education classes. Lohan failed to appear for her court date as she was at the Cannes Film Festival in France and is making claims that she had a stolen passport. However, she never filed a report to say it was stolen until after she missed her court date.
The judge issued a warrant for her arrest and set a bail at $100,000. Lohan was also ordered to receive random drug and alcohol tests once a week, wear an alcohol monitoring bracelet and not drink alcohol until she has a formal probation hearing.

Law and Order Canceled?!?!
NBC still refuses to answer any reports on whether the 20 season show will be canceled, although someone close to the show's production confirmed the cancellation. This cop drama is just one season short of an all-time record. But it might not be the end because another person close to the production revealed that talks on the cancellation are still going on and that the other person was not authorized to speak publicly on the situation.
Despite declining ratings, the show is likely for a season renewal. If it is picked up for another season it will pass "Gunsmoke" as TV's longest running drama. So for right now, we'll just have to wait to find out if the series will be picked up for its 21st season.

The story of the day today is about the famous "Jersey Shore" and its cast ruining Seaside Heights.
They talk about how people now call Seaside "Sleeze"side. However, the Jersey shore is actually very beautiful. Between the boardwalk, rides, beaches, and fireworks, seaside is very nice and well respected. The only thing that is making Seaside get the name it is (according to the site) is the cast of the television show. If you want to learn more about it, visit NJ.com and read the article :)

Rally promoted on Facebook against Kyleigh's Law to be held at Morris County lawmakers' office
Check out this link on Kyleigh's law. People are saying they are going to have a rally to try to repeal the law. It targets children and lets predators know that they are 17 years old. The rally started on facebook and it is said to take place today. Check it out.
heres what it says:
"Kyleigh’s Law, which requires young drivers to display decals on their license plates, continues to stir opposition, both from teens who are mostly affected by it and parents who say it makes youths targets for predators.
A rally promoted on Facebook purportedly by students against Kyleigh’s Law is expected to be held today at the Morris County office of a trio of District 24 Republican lawmakers who voted for the law last year when it overwhelmingly passed the Legislature.
Those lawmakers, state Sen. Steve Oroho, Assemblywoman Alison McHose and Assemblyman Gary Chiusano, all of Sussex, now are considering backing new Senate and Assembly bills that aim to repeal the law, said chief of staff Jeff Spatola.
"We have not come out publicly for a repeal yet. It’s something we are considering," Spatola said. "People who are calling in with real concerns think this wasn’t thought through at all. There’s real concern with putting kids in harm’s way in terms of predators."
Sen. Tom Goodwin, (R-Mercer), sponsor of the Senate repeal bill, today announced his own online petition for repeal."The bottom line is that red decal becomes a bullseye directly on that auto and that driver. It’s profiling young drivers," said Goodwin, who was not a lawmaker last year.
The law is named after Kyleigh D’Alessio, 16, of Long Valley, who was killed in a 2006 crash. Pam Fischer, director of the state Division of Highway Traffic Safety, who chaired a state Teen Driver Study Commission in 2007 that recommended Kyleigh’s Law, said the panel found decals would not make teens targets of predators. She also is "baffled" at opposition from legislators who voted for the law.
"This was not done in a vacuum. We did our homework," Fischer said. "We need those with this knee-jerk reaction to go back and look at the report. It’s not even two weeks since this took effect. You have to allow time to implement it. And we’re going to be evaluating it," through research, focus groups and data from courts, citations and police."

Megan Park
Megan Park was picked to star in a Hollywood movie. The movie is called "The Perfect Teacher." She plays a teenage girl who is completely fixated on seducing her teacher. -------For those of you that watch Secret Life, you know that this is nothingggggggggggg like the role "Grace" plays. She is a sweet innocent girl who thinks she killed her father by having sex. There is no way she would ever think of seducing her teacher.
Well, we will be able to see Megan in a different light soon. Hopefully she will play her role well and impress us Secret Life fans.

Real Housives of New Jersey (RHONJ) : Episode 2
In the ladies' blogs on it is very obvious that there will be much drama this season. Troublemaker Danielle had no problem badmouthing every housewife on her blog. Although she claims to have taken the high road and didn't actually go drive past Caroline's house, she still at some point in her thought process decided that STALKING was okay!!! And for someone how feels they are a good parent, i find it amusing that she would talk badly about her costars CHILDREN! I'm not excusing the comment that Gia made, but nonetheless she is still a child who most likely doesn't understand the context of what she was saying. As for Jacqueline's teenage daughter Ashley, Danielle had no right to try and air her "dirty laundry" over the world wide web, at least Jacqueline was trying to help her daughter make good choices. I'm so glad that Danielle has decided to be a changed woman this season!
As for Jacqueline, congratulations to her and her husband for finally having another baby! I agree with Jacqueline in saying that her heart goes out to Danielle's children. At least they seem to be good kids despite their parental influence.
In Dina's blog, she addresses the comment Danielle made about her working at a salon. Dina cleared this up by saying she isn't ashamed at all to have worked at a salon stocking shelves and doing nails at age 18. The salon was owned by Lexi's father who Dina was dating at the time. It's interesting that Danielle (a former stripper) is going to pass judgment on someone who worked 12 hour days to make money as a teenager.
Teresa recently released her new cookbook this week called "Skinny Italian" and had a book signing at Clifton Commons in New Jersey last Friday. You can read excerpts at her website www.teresagiudice.com
As for Caroline, her family seems so warm and loving and I love her family dynamic. Her kids are hilarious and I hope things work out for Albie and his best friend/sister's boyfriend.

Floods in Nashville
After being rocked by a serious flood, the city of Nashville is experiencing serious damage. Torrential downpours in the southeast have flooded the capital lifting the Cumberland River 13 feet above flood stage, killing more than 30 people and causing over an estimated $1 billion in damage. This natural disaster is said to be possibly one of the most expensive in U.S. history.
Nearly 1,000 people were living in emergency shelters and about 10,000 were without power. The city of Nashville, known for its music, has closed the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Grand Ole Opry had to move its performances. Many businesses had to be shut down and will cause a blow to Nashville's economy
Many celebrities have stepped in to help with the damages. Nashville native Ke$ha has announced a flood benefit concert for June 16th and singer/songwriter Taylor Swift has called Nashville her home since she was 14 years old and has stepped up with a $500,000 donation.
Taylor told press, “Being at home during the storm, I honestly could not believe what was happening to the city and the people I love so dearly.”
“Nashville is my home, and the reason why I get to do what I love. I have always been proud to be a Nashvillian, but especially now, seeing the love that runs through this city when there are people in crisis.”
Why does Kristen Stewart always look miserable?
NY Daily News put out an article about Kristen Stewart stating the reasons why she always seems miserable.
http://www.nydailynews.com/gossip/2010/05/07/2010-05-07_im_not_miserable_twilight_star_kristen_stewart_explains_why_she_always_has_a_fro.html
"She's young, beautiful, stars in the hugely successful "Twilight" franchise and (possibly) dates her equally good-looking British co-star. So why does Kristen Stewart always look unhappy?
The 20-year-old actress sets the record straight in the June Issue of Elle, saying that the perma-frown she often wears on the red carpet is really just a guise.
"People say that I'm miserable all the time," she says. "It's not that I'm miserable, it's just that somebody's yelling at me … I literally, sometimes, have to keep myself from crying … It's a physical reaction to the energy that's thrown at you."
Despite attending countless movie premieres, press junkets and award shows, Stewart says she has yet to become accustomed to the throngs of screaming fans that worship her.
"I think it's funny that when I go onstage to accept an award, they think I'm nervous, uncomfortable, and awkward – and I am – but those are bad words for them," she explains.
But don't mistaken her distressed demeanor for someone who doesn't care about their career.
"I hate it when they say I don't give a s--t, because nobody cares more than I do," she says. "I'm telling you I don't know anybody who does this that gives a s--t more than I do."
Unfortunately for Stewart, the actress' success on the big screen has lead to an invasion of privacy in her personal life.
Besides the pesky paparazzi, who she calls "vicious" and "mean," Stewart has even encountered zealous fans who are willing to cross the line in order to meet her.
"Somebody knocked on my hotel room door and asked for a light, then said that they were a big fan," she says. "I was like, ‘Do you really need me to light your cigarette? How do you know what room I'm in?' I can't be by myself and I like being by myself."
Stewart won't be alone for long as she is about to embark on a busy promotional tour for the third installment of the "Twilight" saga, "Eclipse," which opens in theaters June 30.
As for what Twi-hards are dying to know, Stewart refuses to belong on either Team Edward or Team Jacob.
"I would never cheapen my relationships by talking about them," she says of her "Twilight" co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner . "People say, ‘Just say who you're dating. Then people will stop being so ravenous about it.' It's like, No they won't! They'll ask for specifics."

Bret Michaels UPDATE
"Singer Bret Michaels has been released from a Phoenix, Arizona hospital after suffering a near fatal brain hemorrhage last month. "Mr. Michaels was indeed a lucky person, a very lucky person," Dr. Joseph Zabramski said. Zabramski notes that 15 to 20 percent of those who suffer such ruptures don't live beyond the initial attack.
While Michaels is feeling much better, a side effect of the treatment will have him suffering back pain and spasms for several days due to what a doctor calls "chemical meningitis."
"The blood [that hemorrhaged in his brain] is starting to dissolve, which is very irritating to the brain and spinal cord. He's really suffering now.
"It takes about seven to 10 days more from now before this blood will completely dissolve and he'll really feel like he's on the mend and can resume all of his activities," the doctor said.
Doctors are crediting Michaels "will to live" as the reason behind his rapid recovery. Doctors say that he is "not walking very well, but he is talking very well."
"He has an unbelievable fight in him and told me what kept him alive at the moment of the hemorrhage was that he 'did not want his family to wake up and see him lying unconscious in the middle of the floor,'" Zabramski said.
The 47-year-old Michaels was the former lead singer for the heavy metal band Poison, and later become a reality TV show host on VH1's "Rock of Love with Bret Michaels.""

Follow up on Decals - RUMORED RECALL?

Provisional Licenses..
For all of the 16 year olds out there, their 17th birthday is definitley an exciting one. For one, they may get there first car, but most importantly they get their license. Having a license means more freedom, being able to drive yourself whenever you need to go. But, having this provisional license there is certain laws to abide by. Some new drivers do follow the laws, but many do not. For example only one "friend" may be in the car at one time, but as many family members as you want. The new driver must also be done driving between 5:30am-12am. With these laws being broken, statistics are showing more and more fatal accidents with new drivers. Statistics show that each Year over 5,000 teens ages 16 to 20 Die due to Fatal injuries caused Car accidents. About 400,000 drivers age 16 to 20 will be seriously injured. Because of all of the teens breaking the law, a new one has been created. Kayleigh's law, influenced by the death of 16-year old Kayleigh D'Alessio is in affect as of tomorrow May 1st,2010. A red decal must be placed on the front and back plate of a driver with a provisional license. Another change is they must be done driving by 11pm. In my opinion, I think this is a stupid law, and should not have been passed. Teens are still going to drive the same way, it wont change any of that. Also, for most stories about fatal accidents, the driver wasn't obeying the law; maybe if they chose to follow the rules it could have ended up being different. For example: On December 4, 2004, at 3pm in Warrensburg, Illinois, two teenagers were killed in a car accident. Officers learned that the car was going over 100mph, before the driver lost control hitting an embankment before coming to a stop, completely flipped over. My point is made, the teen was going 100mph in probably a 25mph speed zone, he was breaking the law, and it could have been avoided if he was driving more carefully.
ALL DECALS MUST BE ON TEEN CARS BY TOMORROW!!!!!!!
Good luck with this new law. It sucks for us teens, but we have to deal with it. If you follow the rules now, you won't have to pay later.
Grandmother- Grandson Lovers?!
Living with Catholic parents in Indiana, Pearl Carter was 18 when she became pregnant with daughter Lynette in which her parents insisted she give the baby up for adoption. Lynette's son Phil, 26 years old, came looking for his grandmother after his mother passed away from brain cancer. He reached out to Pearl to contact her and the pair were nervous and apprehensive about meeting each other.
When Phil emailed Pearl a photo of himself, Pearl thought he was handsome and sexy. Confused about her feelings, Pearl talked to a friend who told her about Genetic Sexual Attraction (GSA) where close relatives meet as adults and are attracted to each other. 'I could now understand my feelings and realise they weren't wrong,' Pearl says.
'From the first moment that I saw him, I knew we would never have a grandmother-grandson relationship,' Pearl remembers happily. 'For the first time in years I felt sexually alive.'
Phil admits that he had the same feelings towards Pearl. 'I wanted to kiss her there and then,' he says. 'My feelings were overwhelming.'
Pearl called Phil into her bedroom on their first meeting and sat him down on her bed and leaned in to kiss him. Expecting rejection, Phil kissed her back and Pearl explained to him about GSA.
Living with Phil as my life partner has been amazing. He cooks and cleans and we make love three times a week. We can't keep our hands off each other' says Pearl.'Making love to Pearl was a real eye-opener. It was love combined with all this sexual tension that had been building up,' Phil openly explains.
Although Pearl is going through menopause, Phil admits to wanting another child so the pair have hired a surrogate mother to carry their baby with a donor egg.
'I am finally going to be a mum and not forced to give up my child. Phil's going to be a great dad. I never in a million years thought at 72 I'd be "pregnant" and in love with my grandson. I make no apologies and I believe God's given me a second chance.'
The pair makes no apologies about their controversial relationship between grandmother and biological grandson and get laughed at and bullied when they go out and kiss in public.
Phil adds, 'I love Pearl with all my heart. I've always been attracted to older women and I think Pearl is gorgeous. Now I'm going to be a dad and I can't wait.
In my opinion, incest is NOT okay no matter how you "feel" about each other! I find their relationship to be gross and inappropriate but i guess to each is own, right? I wish them all luck with their strange relationship, especially that poor child!

Provisional license restrictions under law

- Can not use electronic devices.
- Seat belts must be worn at all times.
- Red sticker must be worn on front and back license plates of the car identifying yourself as a teenage driver.
Failure to comply with any of these restrictions results in a $100 fine if pulled over."
******************THIS IS NOT FAIR******************
First of all, it is absolutely ridiculous that teens have to be home at 11. We are almost old enough to be in college, enlist in the military, and vote... BUT NOT DRIVE??!??!?!?!!! Second, its age profiling. It is dangerous. Very dangerous. Girls can get followed, raped, and killed. Its a target that says "hey look at me, I'm underage." I just hope nothing terrible happens with this law.
Kyleighs Law
How long am I required to use these decals?
the question everyone is asking.
It depends on when you first obtained a permit. A driver, under the age of 21, must display the decals during the period when he or she possesses a permit or probationary driver license. The decals are no longer necessary once the driver obtains a full privilege driver license.
What do you think about the new law?

Kate +8
Kate Gosselin was eliminated from dancing with the stars last week. Although that did not mark the end of her reality TV career. It is official, TLC is bringing back Kate Plus 8.
"The proper steps have been taken and the kids are permitted for Kate Plus 8." Thank goodness. And tough luck, Jon. How's your career going?
There is no word weather or not Jon will be featured in the show; considering he was the one to stop it, saying it was exploiting the kids. Many are guessing he will be featured, for the right price.
There are also rumors of a TLC spin off show titled "Twist of Kate". Who knows what will happen with this reality star and her children, but we are wishing her the best of luck!
American Idiot on Broadway
New to Broadway is the stage-musical version of rock band Green Day's American Idiot. The performance includes little dialogue but does include chugged bears, a couple of joints, some syringes of heroin, an overdose, a drug-related suicide and a bout of realistic looking sex on a futon. However, the play is still seen as inevitably corny and critics say it could have used more bite.
Some playgoers say they were huge fans of Green Day but thought the play was garbage. People say the show appeared to be thrown together too fast, the choreography wasn't good, the story jumps around and the plot didn't make any sense. They also feel that the show was a joke, couldn't be taken seriously and contained no real meaning. Several feel that it was the worst thing to hit Broadway and are predicting an early close for the musical. Others disagree and feel that the music was good and the cast was very talented. Some viewers say that the play combines pure entertainment with a powerful message. Although, there are people who left the theater with the impression that the play was alright or even awesome.

Teacup Pot-Belly Pig Trend
( Pictured). “Doug and I will be lying in bed, watching DVDs, and she’ll just lie there between us,” Hilton told HELLO. “She’s a little sweetheart and I love her.”She added, “I went online and found these tiny teacup pigs that stay under 12lb when they’re fully grown. They’re incredibly smart, lovable, really clean and litter trained.”
These Micro Pot belly pigs are known to stay under 12lbs when fully grown.
Pigs are extremely smart, and very clean. I also have a teacup pot belly pigs as well. She is much smarter than my two dogs, and is litter trained. Although Paris has maybe started a new trend, we have to think about the damage her last trend caused. Many people wanted Chihuahua's and then after awhile decided they couldn't handle them or simply didn't want them anymore. What if this happens with the pigs? It can cause more problems, which can be bad. But it can also make people have a new love for these exotic animals.

Real Housewives of New Jersey Season Two!
Many fans (including myself) are eagerly anticipating the premier episode of the Bravo TV's series' second season. The first episode of the new season starts on May 3rd on a new night. It was rumored that before the women agreed to do another season they held out for bigger paychecks. (But we're glad they're coming back!) After an explosive first season, the second season is going to be even crazier than the first. On its premier night, Bravo is welcoming back its leading ladies- Dina Manzo, Caroline Manzo, Jacqueline Laurita, Danielle Staub and Teresa Giudice, with their families.
Teresa Giudice (my personal favorite!) grew up in Paterson, NJ where she met her husband "juicy" Joe with whom she had her four daughters- Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana. Teresa is known as over the top with her daughters outfits, her own style and larger than life personality. Notorious for the table flip in season one, Teresa isn't the kind of person who is going to put up with people looking to start drama, primarily cast mate Danielle. Danielle, mother of daughters Christine and Jillian, is notorious for "the book" and has been known as the trouble maker of the girls. Many rumors have swirled about this housewife and there has been great controversy over the truth behind the book's allegations. Jacqueline Laurita, the only housewife who is friends with Danielle, has created a rift with her family over her friendship with Danielle. Jacqueline is hailed as the peacemaker of the group and tries to avoid conflicts with any of the girls. She is married to Dina and Caroline's brother Chris and is the mother of daughter Ashley from a previous marriage and has son CJ and new baby Nicholas with her husband Chris. Dina is the mother of daughter Lexi from a previous marriage and is now married to co-owner of the Brownstone, Tommy Manzo. Dina is a former interior designer/event planner and has recently taken time off to spend more time with her daughter and cats- Grandma Wrinkles and Ladybug. As sisters married to brothers, Caroline is married to Tommy's brother Albert who is also co-owner of the Brownstone. Caroline, mother of three children-Albie, Christopher and Lauren, is known as a strong woman, and a feisty spitfire. Both sisters are very involved with charity work and are affiliated with several organizations. (The Carolyn Gable Expect A Miracle Foundation, CROC, (Citizens Reunited to Overcome Cancer), and Project Ladybug)
By the looks of the previews, this highly anticipated second season seems like it will be sure to please, and the viewers will be very excited to welcome back the leading ladies into their televisions on Monday nights. :)

The Octomom Feels Guilty About Having So Many Kids!
She commented: “I feel as though I was so caught up with my own childish desires to compensate. I’ve always coveted that connection, that attachment to another being. And the connection felt safer with children than with a significant other, more predictable. The security—I was hungering for the security.”
Her comment on feeling any regret: “We’re surviving. We’re so busy going, going, going, moving, moving, moving, trying to keep up that you don’t have time to think, to reflect, to feel anything. And it is a choice. I own all of the responsibility for my poor choices in the past. Do I regret it? You can’t regret children. But the choices were childish. They were immature. They were selfish. Are we defined by our choices? Our behavior? Our actions? No. I don’t believe that defines our worth.“I feel as though I wasn’t thinking at that time. If I could go back, would I make different choices? Maybe. At this point, I know and I need to teach my children that we need to learn, we need to grow, we need to keep on growing and transcending, and we need to make the best possible choices. And when we make poor choices, all you can do is really, really learn from that and grow from that. Try not to repeat it.”
