Kyleighs Law

Staring May 1st,2010 Drivers under age 21, who possess a permit or probationary license, must display the GDL decals when operating a motor vehicle. These red stickers must be placed on the front and back license plates. Drivers must be home by 11pm and also only have one passenger unless with a parent. If these rules are not followed, and the stickers are no present you are subject to a $100 fine.

How long am I required to use these decals?
the question everyone is asking.

It depends on when you first obtained a permit. A driver, under the age of 21, must display the decals during the period when he or she possesses a permit or probationary driver license. The decals are no longer necessary once the driver obtains a full privilege driver license.

What do you think about the new law?
